Credit Risk Analyst

Job description

At Selina Finance, our mission is to empower homeowners to access the wealth locked up in their homes as easily as using a credit card

We believe our clients should not have to rely on costly unsecured credit, inflexible mortgage products or expensive intermediaries

Selina is introducing HELOCs (Home Equity lines of Credit) to the UK, allowing customers to dip into their home equity with the flexibility of a credit card and the affordability of a mortgage

We’re disrupting the antiquated, paper based mortgage market by delivering consumers better products, and a superior customer experience.

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will start a career in the brain of our lending business, helping us gain a competitive advantage with intelligent pricing and credit risk analyses. You will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the external competitive environment (second charge lenders and other flexible lending products)
  • Monitor and analyse internal data (application and portfolio data) to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Develop statistical models to forecast credit performance and losses including the identification and integration of external data sources
  • Take ownership of our credit policy and shape it through proposals and reports to senior management on the basis of the above
  • Oversee regulatory affordability models and reporting leading on all aspects of affordability

You’ll be right in the heart of the action here at Selina. We’re looking for driven, detail-oriented team players. We win by placing customers interests first!
